Karryn rang me just before Christmas to organise a family photoshoot on the home farm at Port Fairy before it was sold. Finally making it down there I was so excited when I turned up to find wonderful, old bluestone walls and sheds and a gorgeous family for me to work with....which just had to include Jess the dog! Thanks Karryn for organising this, I hope your parent's love the photos just as much as they loved sitting in the window of the shed!

Bianca and Tristan's Wedding
I was a little nervous when I hopped in my car to do the 4 1/2 hour drive down to Port Fairy to shoot Bianca and Tristan's wedding. Here I was leaving the gorgeous Autumn weather of Echuca to brave the windy, cold, wet conditions of Victoria's South West! The forecast was very ominous, however we really couldn't have asked for a better afternoon! Sure, it wasn't always the warmest (especially when I made everyone do family photos around the shady, chilly side of the church!) but the sun even managed to peep through for a while and it was actually quite warm and I even had to battle glare! Go figure!! I really didn't mind the weather though, as shooting in Port Fairy is always fantastic (Beach! Yay!!) and when you have a bride as gorgeous (and organised...I love event's planners!) as Bianca it can only be a great day! It was also great to work with Tristan again, as he knew the drill so well after having been a Groomsman in a previous wedding of mine. Although, I must say he was far more emotional this time around! It was so sweet to see a Groom so full of sincere emotion as his bride took the long walk towards him down the church aisle, and again when he spoke his vows. Thank you both for asking me to capture your day for you and for being up for my silly ideas, and for trusting me so much. I had a blast and I know your journey together will be a fun one!

Sophie
It's been a long time since I've photographed a little bub with a simple black backdrop, as I tend to like to use the outdoors. Sophie's Mum however had had her siblings photographed in such a way when they were the same age, so it was only fitting that we replicated the look for little Sophie. She was a pretty serious little subject, although she warmed up towards the end and we managed to coax a few little smiles from her. Those blue eyes are transfixing enough though...just divine.

Sam and Nathan's wedding
It was wonderful to get to spend the day with Sam and Nathan, especially after having had the pleasure of photographing Sam as a bridesmaid in the past. Sam and Nathan had many fantastic ideas for their photographs but were both also open to any on the spot suggestions I had. Thank you for trusting me (and indulging my etsy shopping addiction for props!). I think together we were able to create some beautiful images of your day. Sam you are such a natural in front of the camera, and your sheer joy and happiness shone through in all of your photographs. I hope you both had a wonderful day and I know you will have a wonderful future together. Thank you for trusting me with your very special day. x
