I had the privilege of being invited to Harriet and Amelia's beautiful home to take some portraits of these two gorgeous girls in their wonderful backyard...complete with a cubby house that would be the envy of any child. I'm not sure how many jumping beans these two ate for lunch though as getting them to stay in shot for more than a nano second was an accomplishment! One of my favourite shots of the day though came when I was packing up and the girls started pushing each other in the red cart on the polished floor, so out came the gear for one more shot. Thanks Nicole for asking me to your home and thanks Harriet and Amelia for letting me in to your world...it certainly is a beautiful one.

Holly, Luke and Maya
I got to spend a glorious afternoon with three gorgeous kids. I've taken photos of Holly and Luke before when their Aunty got married and now that Aunty has a beautiful little baby of her own! The two big kids clearly loved their new little cousin, although were a bit more hypo than little Maya. I can't believe how easily you got Maya to drift off to sleep, while in the nude and with her cousins running about everywhere! Holly and Luke had clearly been practising their modelling poses....although Luke became a little temperamental....perhaps he was channeling the behaviour of Prima donna models here too though! ;) We still got some very fun shots though in some very beautiful light. Thanks for asking me to be a part of capturing your life again Jacqui.
This was the look Holly said she uses to get her Dad to do whatever she wants him too! |

Jane and Damien's Wedding
Oh dear, we really needed the tissues at the ready for this day! Beautiful, beautiful Jane (or should I say terribly ugly!) just couldn't stop crying every time anybody told her how gorgeous she looked! As this was happening constantly, the tears just wouldn't stop flowing...we had to resort to telling her she looked terrible to stop the tide! Of course this was a lie as she really was simply breathtaking, with the most lovely, graceful manner to match. Jane and Damien you were both such a pleasure to work with and the delight you share for each other was so evident throughout the entire day. You took a few last minute changes to locations in your stride (thanks to the changing date of the Southern 80) and just went with it. You were rewarded grandly though with some amazing light and picture perfect sunset....I'm just devastated we couldn't get over the fence to get a shot with "the perfect tree." It really would have completed the story. Hmmmm, note to self for next time...pack wire cutters! ;) I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness. Thanks for entrusting me with your day.
Oh, I must also say a big thank you to Nicole, possibly the best veil tosser ever! Thank you. Your eye for the little details was wonderful and your enthusiasm a joy.
