SUPERMAN!!

After showing a few pages yesterday, I've finished off Toby's Superman comic so here it is in it's entirety.
I've had a the littlest bit of time to indulge my own creative ideas in the last few days so it was Toby's turn to get in front of the camera...and for once he was very obliging!! I've wanted to do something like this for a while and had so much fun shooting it and then putting it all together. Toby loves it and can't wait to have it up on his wall...which will be good for  me too as he keeps wanting to sit and my computer and read it over and over again! We have plans to create a whole 'superhero' series for him, with his request being to be either Ben 10 or Harry Potter (which he's never even seen but is obsessed with the cards out the newspaper at the moment) next!
Something like this would be easily adaptable to other little boys (or girls), and is such a fun way to capture this time in your little person's life where dreams of super powers, 'coming to the rescue,' and jumping off things to see if one can fly are always bubbling close to the surface!

Cake Pops...and Reese

This shoot was meant to be all about Christina from Popular Treats yummy Cake Pops....however, I did get a little bit side tracked by my very gorgeous and very obliging little model Reese. Seriously, I don't think anyone could take a bad photo of this little cutie! I've also decided that Cake Pops not only taste yummy and are perfect for so many occasions, they also make fantastic props for children's photos! Thanks for sending another batch my way Christina...and my kids thank you too!

Kez and Wal's Wedding

I was watching the weather forecast very closely leading up Kez and Wal's Winter wedding, but the day turned out clear and sunny...although it did get very crisp in the late afternoon. Luckily the girl's had lovely faux fur wraps to cuddle in to as the sun dipped low in the sky. I don't think Kez stopped smiling all day. In fact I think she found it physically impossible to stop, even when asked to tone it down a notch!  She even smiled her way through her veil being clipped in to her necklace by an over helpful bridesmaid who was just trying to wrack up a few more points! What a lovely way to spend a crisp Winter's day. Thanks Kez and Wal for trusting me to capture it for you.

Mystery Wedding....

This post's a bit of a mystery where I can't actually reveal my bride and groom, but I thought they would still like some photographs to enjoy for now.

A roller blading 80+ year old...not something you see everyday! Very impressive!!
