Trash the Dress with Dave and Amy

I have been wanting to do a Trash the Dress session for a while now and the perfect opportunity arose when my brother and his wife came out to visit from the US. Wanting some Aussie shots to add to their American wedding photos this was a great chance to capture the bush and the river and get down and dirty at the same time! Amy was up for anything and so much fun to shoot, thus making for some awesome images and a great time! Contrary to the name Trash the Dress doesn't necessarily mean that your dress will get trashed. It just means you don't have to be as precious as your were with it on the day. It's a chance to get expressive and arty and create some beautiful images in a dress that means a lot to you. I find that a good Dry Clean and your dress will be back to its beautiful self in no time and you will have some amazing images to cherish. Again thanks Dave and Amy for being brave. Love you guys. xxx

Chloe

It is so easy to take beautiful portraits when your model is up for anything...and Chloe was! Even though it was a nice day, the water was so freezing and Chloe braved it like a champion. We had a great afternoon finding spots to create images and catching up on old times. Thanks Chloe, you are gorgeous. xx

Isabella and Declan

The big blue eyes of Declan were a winner in all of his photos as he laughed and smiled his way through the shoot. Bella on the other hand was little reluctant to stay in front of the camera, preferring to wander off set. However, once a set of fairy wings and a tutu were produced her inner Princess emerged as she danced and played her way around the garden, resulting in some gorgeous shots. You certainly have two beautiful children Linda. Cheers, Tam xx

Tayla, Maddie, Charlie and Lilly

It was an absolute delight to photograph such gorgeous kids today. With Tayla taking the lead and throwing all her "America's Next Top Model" poses at me it wasn't long before an initially reluctant Maddie joined in. Now, if only Charlie had seen the show! While not as co-operative as his cousins, it is amazing what a chockie bikkie can convince a little boy to do! Little Lilly was simply perfect the whole shoot, but had a bit of trouble staying awake! It was also wonderful catching up with two of my past Art students, and realising how time is flying as they are now Mums. Thanks Nicci for asking me to photograph your beautiful family. Cheers, Tam xxx

Website is up!!

Hi there. Well my website it now up and running...YAY! A big thanks to my talented brother Dave must be said as it is he who has done all of the work...I just kept telling him to change things like an annoying big sister! Have a look around and I hope you enjoy it.

With the cold weather well and truly upon us I have been rugged up inside and so have most of the brides so posts will begin soon when the sun comes out!

In the mean time, here's a few shots I've taken of my own little model....complete with sad bump on head from learning to walk..into the side of the wall. :( He is such a willing poser though!

Cheers, Tam xx
