Beck and Scott's Wedding

The weather was very ominous for Beck and Scott's big day. With the forecast threatening the heaviest rains in 15 years and the Murray River already swollen with heavy Winter rains, things weren't looking too great. When I meet with them on Thursday for location options, we found that many of the spots they liked were underwater....including two of the places Beck had originally looked at to hold the ceremony! However, Beck and Scott took all this in their stride and were determined to enjoy their day no matter how soggy they got! Scott's organisational skills kicked in to gear and a marquee was erected over the outdoor ceremony location at Morrison's Winery. Luckily though minimal rain fell on their day, it was just very muddy and wet underfoot everywhere we went to shoot....with poor Beck's gorgeous shoes and dress copping the brunt of it! A fun bridal shoot ensued though with brollies always on the stand by. We missed the paddle steamer shot that Beck and Scott wanted due to wetness, however Scott himself couldn't have planned it better when we went to the Moama Wharf for photos and he suddenly realised the paddle steamer carrying their guests may not be far away. Sure enough, the steamer came into view shortly after we arrived with the "postcard" Echuca shot captured! Thanks for letting me be a part of your day Beck and Scott.
